HEAVY RIFF ROCK FROM WALEs

ABOUT
“The sonic equivalent of driving a beat-up van on a dirt road in outer space.”
Heavy on the Ride are a four-piece rock band from the south of Wales (UK). Built on solid riffs and shimmering melody, the band drive heavy grooves across expansive soundscapes, travelling through a melancholic world of rhythm and melody.
Inspired by Queens of the Stone Age, Mastodon, Baroness and (the) Melvins, the Welsh quartet have relentlessly honed their craft by shaking stages across the UK with their significant, signature sound.
Their self-titled debut album (coming 2026) has barbed-wire swagger, cloud-busting harmonies and unapologetic riff-driven rock n’ roll.

From the one-two punch of opener ‘On Deaf Ears’ to the pensive euphoria of closing track ‘Catharsis,’ it’s a confident statement of intent from a band with its foot on the gas.
