Influenced by rock titans QOTSA, experimental sludge kings (the) Melvins and prog metal masters Mastodon, HotR wear their influences on their sleeves to brew their own concoctions of what they think makes a good rock n' roll song.
Highlights & Achievements
Since forming in April 2009 the band has released two EP's, a single and completed a tour of England and Wales. New music will be released towards the end of 2021 with the plan for multiple long-form releases arriving throughout 2022 and a tour in support of the new material.
The band has had great opportunities playing alongside other UK rising talents as well as personal highlights playing alongside former QOTSA members, Nick Oliveri, Joey Castillo (B'LAST!) Gene Trautmann and Dave Catching (Star & Dagger) as well as Ikey Owens (RIP) of The Mars Volta, The Subways, and Japan's Electric Eel Shock.

Latest Single
“Untitled” is our latest single offering something different than our previous releases, with a slower, cleaner approach and atmospheric/ballad-like feel. It questions what happens to us after we die and if there’s a higher power to answer to.
The track features guest vocalist Phil Humphreys of Lethargy, who also mixed and mastered the track at his studio Little Emperor Studio.

Next Single
“First In, Last Out” will be our last release of 2021, a heavy, fuzzy end to the year about having to be the one to do everything, show up first and be the last to leave.
